What If I Could not Achieve All The Goals I Set For 2019
Hello, my pen friends. What goals did you set for 2019?
It’s that time of the year we like to reflect on our lives, we start reviewing our goals and make some personal introspections. Questions like, how did this year run so fast? WOW 😳! How did time run so fast? I wrote down so many goals that I want to achieve but most of it didn’t make it to reality.
Well, I have good news for you…From a Christian perspective, I believe that I didn’t come into this world by chance, God has a well thought out plan for my life, therefore, if I walk in his will, I am not making mistakes.
According to Proverbs 19 Vs 21 “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. Meaning we have to understand that there is a higher force that determines the happenings in our life after our choices.
For some people, they have pushed themselves so far but they didn’t get too far, I’m not trying to justify laziness or having no sense of purpose, I just want you to have it at the back of your mind that if the most important goals for your 2019 didn’t materialise then you can try again, do not give up or become depressed. The Financial goals, personal development goals, business goals, career goals, marital or health goals and so much more you wrote down.
Life is in phases, therefore, enjoy the phase that you are in, live the most of it. We really don’t know how much time we have left, we should intentionally let go of the “woulda, shoulda and coulda”.
Live in the moment, celebrate your small win 👋. Appreciate yourself.
I am sending a big warm hug 🤗 to anyone who is feeling unfulfilled because they didn’t squash all their 2019 goals, also do not forget that you are just 1 second away from a breakthrough, what you desire can still happen. Don’t give up or lose hope and who says that 2019 goals cannot be moved to 2020?
Also if you critically look back you will see some accomplishments and God answering your prayers at least you are alive to read this.
Appreciate life now for you won’t be around forever.
